Adversity - we have no control over it, we will face more adversity, it’s not if, it’s when. So, if we have no control over that, what's the one thing we have control over? Our mind and our attitude. We can control the way that we respond. We are the determiner of what that trouble is going to be.
What we can ultimately call a wing or a weight will be how we allow it to be a weight that sinks us, leaves us knocked down never to get back up again. CovID 19 (the adversity of this year 2020) came into our lives, set us on a path that seems like there is no end in sight. The world we knew before is no more, everything and everyone in the world has been affected, we can’t let this adversity weigh us down. We have to find wings to rise spiritually, physically, and mentally.
Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
We all go through some misfortune, you thought for one minute that it would break you, Satan got you twisted because you are not phenomenally skilled, but you are phenomenally willed, you will not give up, you will not surrender, you will not quit ; because greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. (1 John 4:4)
Why you keep crying? Why me God? We have many questions when misfortunes happen, like being fired, sickness, death, divorce, money problems, and children. Nothing seems to be going right. Do you understand? You got put through that because what it does; that tension produces greatness. God will never take us through the river to drown us. We are overcomers! Stop complaining about what you are going through. It may not be easy and you are never alone.
1 Cor 10:13
There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man; but God is faithful who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able, but will with the temptation, also make a way to escape that he may be able to bear it.
Stand in the middle of controversy, stand in the middle of CovID-19, stand in the middle loneliness. Whatever is going on stand on God's Word and believe that you are an overcomer. We need to match whatever effort the enemy is putting up, whoever your enemy is, match that effort and fight, because we are over comers we will not be defeated.
Be strong and very courageous you got to have inner strength for the fight. It’s not your outer strength, that inner strength will get you through, seek God and remember we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. God’s got you.
Sisters remember we are winners, we are survivors , we are troopers, we are tough cookies, we are champions, we are fighters, we are vanquishers.
Built on the solid foundation: The word of God.
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
