Who would have thought that by this time we would still be in the woods and in the thick forest too dealing with this virus?

 

However, though this Omicron variant of the pandemic is steadily increasing and has moved us to think there is no immediate way out because of its rapid mutation; We still believe there is an ‘Intelligent Being’ that governs this universe and can do the impossible.  

 

Scientists tell us that we are still prone to contracting the disease even with current vaccination. This variant confirmed in more than 20 countries clearly shows us that the severity of transmission is inevitable.  The fact that scientists are pursuing this, it appears that we will not be totally relieved from this pandemic until we fully comply with God’s demand.  So, the question is, what is God’s demand? Well, according to:

 

 2nd Chronicles 7:14 14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

 

Therefore, we as a people need to do our part that is to repent and pray. We might say that we have prayed but prayer is constant. The Apostle Paul clearly speaks in 1 Thessalonians 5:17 “Pray without ceasing”.  Paul also admonishes the Romans in Romans chapter 12:12 “Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;”

 

God loves us unconditionally, let us repent and pray.
