Close-out Celebration November 23, 2024
“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace” (Isaiah 9:6).
Our “close-out” celebration was something to be spoken of. The verse above was applicable to observe in the festivity. We felt the awesome feeling of the Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God, the Everlasting Father and His eternal peace with in our gathering.
The opening prayers and the closing benediction were methods of thanking God for what He deposited in each individual.
It was a coming together, gift exchange, thanksgiving, and fellowship. It is said that the act of giving thanks is not a mere suggestion but a divine commandment. We give thanks and praise in our spiritual journey. With that being said, We, are thankful to God for the addition of 4 beautiful members added to our group. Vanessa, Rhonda, Gretta, Porsha.
Ms Juliet – Our accountant, was unable to be present but she has left her mark. Each time there is a birthday she provides cake and birthday card to every person. We truly missed her today.
We give a shout out to Ms Karen for always finding the appropriate location for our close-out celebration every year. Coco Palm was the perfect place! The setting was stunning visually appealing. It gave a sense of attractiveness to its scenery. The food was very delicious, one could indulge in the flavors with ease. Karen, does her work with excellence and style. Ms Bev with her calm spirit and infectious smile always willing to work alongside Ms Karen.
Ms Glenda, Our Chair, who is always spiritually motivated presides over the meetings with praises for God.
Ms Pat, our most talented friend created our program, so beautifully set out! See attached copy.
