2021 - January
As we move forward in 2021, let us remind ourselves to continue to appreciate the simpler thing’s life has shown us, things we may have taken for granted pre-pandemic. 2020 brought discord, despair, disease, death, and distrust into our communities and our everyday lives, but God kept us in the palm of His Almighty hands. Despite the enormous challenges of 2020, we have many reasons to be optimistic for 2021. Let us move forward in Faith. The beginning of 2021 is the perfect time to reset our minds, look closely at our habits, and prepare our hearts for what God is going to do next. Set aside time with God every day, Jeremiah 29:13. Remember whose you are, 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. Everything you have sacrificed this past year will never compare to the ultimate sacrifice God himself made for you. So, when you begin to grow discouraged, remember that God is eternally invested in your life. Your future is in the hands of Someone who loves you, and He wants you to become the person He created you to be. Set realistic, measurable, and achievable goals this year and stay focused. Life is fluid and time stands still for no one. Even during this world-altering event as the Pandemic, it is time to start the process of picking up the pieces of our lives and moving forward. It is time to start recognizing our personal power, worth and capability. Pick your symbol, set your course, and start the process of getting back to life - regardless of the circumstances around you. Go with God and I promise you, He will go with you.
